"That's true," says Mr. Dubois, regretfully, and drops the tarp. "Very true. It would not do to be late for that."

"No sir," says Leo, trying to hide his relief.

"A question Leo," says Mr. Dubois.

"Which do you think is sweeter? Sugar or truth?"
