He smiles and turns turns away. It's a weak lie, but he's busy, and like busy people, doesn't have time or energy for mystery. He gestures towards the table, sorting her into something that he can understand.
"I suppose the post waits for no man," he says. "Or woman I suppose. Or experiment."
Kendra tries not to visibly wilt in relief.
