Emmie lands on the cheap linoleum tiles of the laundromat, trying not to think about how he was passing through a place where a door should be without opening it.

He lands, hyperventilating, feeling the strange chill of passing through whatever damage they're currently doing to the time-stream, and points the Not Yet at the giant dog monster.



Which then proceeds to do absolutely nothing, making him feel a little silly, but very glad about not being mauled to death.
