"Never…" says Amie.

"It's right up there with turning into a giant snake in terms of really bad ideas that never work out!"

"I know!"

"That thing could be his zombifying doodad! It coulda zombified you! Do you want to turn into a naught? 'Cause that's how you get naughts!"

"Nooo, I don't want to turn into a naught."

"And it was completely unnecessary, 'cause you've already done that bit!"

"Huh?"

Then Bina does something that Amie was not expecting in the least.



"You already did the whole 'answering the call' garbage, you goof," says Bina. "What are you trying to do it again for? Did you forget the part where you jumped into a time machine and then fought monsters in the dark? I don't write as much fiction as you, but I'm pretty sure you don't have to do that kinda thing twice to answer the call to adventure."

"Uhhh…" says Amie, who had been bracing for more yelling and now feels completely off balance.
